Acceptable use policy
Use the service for legitimate sales tax calculation and integration work without harming other customers, the service, or third parties.

Permitted use
You may call the documented API, use generated SDKs, manage your own account data, verify integrations against resources you own, and perform reasonable security validation against those resources.

Prohibited use
Do not use the service to:
- break the law or gain unauthorized access
- steal credentials, distribute malware, or attack service availability
- exhaust resources or evade rate, usage, or billing controls
- scrape or reconstruct protected tax content
- probe another customer's account or data
- send secrets or payment-card data where the service does not request them
- present a result as legal advice or a government determination

Security testing
Limit tests to accounts and data you control. Do not run destructive, high-volume, social-engineering, or availability-impacting tests without written authorization. Report suspected vulnerabilities to security@salestaxcalculatorapi.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate before disclosure.

Enforcement
We may rate-limit, block, or suspend activity that threatens the service, customers, or third parties. Where practical and safe, we will explain the affected behavior and the steps needed to restore access. Serious or repeated abuse may result in termination.
